Q.  What is the GoldenSearch.net Mozilla/Firefox Search Plug-in?

    A.  The Mozilla/Firefox search plug-in for GoldenSearch.net is a add-on component for Mozilla based web browsers.  The plug-in works for searches performed using the in the browsers search toolbar. Search results are displayed in the same format as if you went to our home page and performed a search. Sidebar use is also supported with this plugin.

    Q.  What if I don't have Firefox or a Mozilla-compatible browser?

    Q.  How do I install the GoldenSearch.net search plug-in for Mozilla/Firefox?

    A.  You have two install options. You can either manually install the files or download an auto-install file.

1. To use the auto-install download method, just click the Moz Plugin link image above and the files will be downloaded and installed automatically. 

2. To manually install, download the Mozilla/Firefox plug-in, uncompress the archive. Place the two uncompressed files into your searchplugins directory and then restart Mozilla/Firefox.  The path to the searchplugins folder varies depending what browser and version you are using see below.

On Linux:

	/usr/lib/Mozilla-Firefox/searchplugins

Note - Root must chmod this directory to allow users to install plugins; otherwise, root is the only user that can install plugins.

On Windows:

	C:\Program Files\Mozilla.org\Mozilla\searchplugins\

On Mac:

	/Mozilla/searchplugins/

On Mac OS X:

	/Applications/Mozilla.app/Contents/MacOS/Search\

	Plugins/
